Roy Richardson F.C.A. - Finance Director
Roy is one of the founder members of SSSL and has been instrumental as Finance Director in the continued commercial success of the company.
Roy left Northampton Grammar School in 1956 and was Articled to the precursor to Grant Thornton, where he stayed for 5 years
Roy qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1961.
After short periods with various firms of accountants Roy joined Deloittes in 1966 and moved to Nairobi, Kenya.
After 3 years with Deloittes, Roy joined a Kenya based Hotel Group as Chief Accountant.
Roy returned to the UK in 1972 and joined a large Hotel Group in UK as Chief Finance Officer and Director of Corporate Planning until 1980 before joining SSSL as full time Finance Director.
Roy is married with 5 children and is also the proud Grandfather of 2 grandchildren.
Roy’s Interests are most sports, walking, music, theatre, beer and wine.
