Clive Bunney BSc - Technical Director

Clive Bunney was born in London, England in 1954 and in 1976 he obtained his BSc. in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London.

In 1976 Clive also joined Plessey Semiconductors as a graduate trainee in the radio communications design department and becoming a Senior Engineer involved in the design of high speed bipolar dividers and synthesisers. In 1979 Clive joined SSSL as a project engineer where he was involved in the design of high speed bipolar digital and analogue circuits for a wide range of applications including telecommunications and automotive.
In 1985 Clive was elected to the SSSL board of directors with responsibility for project control and coordination.

Some of the projects that he has led include;

5.7 Ghz WiMax UP / Down Converters in SiGe bipolar.

Single chip multi-standard Digital Broadcast receiver

Dual mode GSM / DECT single chip transceiver.

His interests include skiing and mountaineering.
